Mrs. Terry Routman
Kindergarten Specialist
Terry Sullivan Routman is a kindergarten teacher at Hayes Cooper Center in Merigold, Mississippi. She began her teaching experience as teacher/director at Immanuel Baptist Kindergarten in Cleveland, Mississippi. Six years laer she began teaching kindergarten in the Cleveland School District where she has continued teaching at this same grade level for 19 years. She has had the good fortune to work with the same kindergarten assistant for all of these years. Mrs. Routman has a masters degree in elementary education and her specialty areas are reading instruction and social science. Mrs. Routman has been very involved in her district's Early Literacy Initiative and has been a presenter at the district and state level.
