Jalma L. Latham is a third grade teacher at Hayes Cooper Center. She is a graduate of Delta State university were she received her undergraduate degree in 2002 and a master’s degree in 2004. She began her career in Cleveland School District as a fourth grade teacher at H.M. Nailer Elementary School and later joined the Hayes Cooper faculty in 2004.

Ms. Latham is a graduate of the Delta Area Writing Project (DAWP) and served as a member of the Cleveland School District Writing Committee for the years 2002-2003. She also worked with the Greenville School District on behalf of the DAWP as a teacher consultant in 2002-2003.
