Born into a musical family, Becky has a love of music that has been nurtured for many years. Her practice and performance began at an early age singing in church and continued through her education where her favorite part of elementary school was Orff Music Class. Beginning in high school, Becky received extensive training in stage productions and in the choral setting and is now an accomplished singer. She was awarded scholarship for her musical abilities and continued her education at Delta State University , in Cleveland , MS , where she received her Bachelor of Music Education degree with concentrations in vocal performance, choral music, stage productions, and elementary music.  She is also working on her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance Degree and is due to complete that this semester.

As a certified music teacher, Becky has taught elementary music for five years and is currently teaching at Hayes Cooper Center . She has also received certification in Kindermusik and taught music to babies and toddlers ages 0 to 3 years in Cleveland . At Hayes Cooper, Becky teaches classroom music in 4K through 6 ^th grade and has a grade level program in each level every year. She also teaches Recorder Choir and Singers Elite,  both of which are auditioned based groups that perform, tour, and compete each year. In addition, Becky has been teaching beginner piano and voice lessons at Hayes Cooper Center and has a studio of 30 plus students. This is her dream job!!!
