Mrs. Charlotte Dye
Kindergarten Specialist
Charlotte Dye received her BSE degree in 1972 from Delta State University. During her teaching career, she has taught both self-contained and departmentalized classes from kindergarten to sixth grade. She has taught 1 year as an elementary school librarian. She has taught in Grenada, Greenwood, Greenville, Charleston, Cleveland, and Merigold. She has been teaching at Hayes Cooper since 1998. She participated in the pilot program with Leap Frog School House. She attended the Crows’ Neck Math and Science Conference in Tishamingo County in 2000 and 2001. She attended the National Educators’ Computer Conference in San Antonio, TX during the summer of 2002 and in Seattle, Washington during the summer of 2003. She also attended the Whole Arts Fall Retreat in 2002. For the past several years, she has supervised 12 student teachers from Delta State University.
