Mrs. Cathy Coleman-Dancer
Sixth Grade Specialist
Cathy Coleman-Dancer is happy to join Hayes Cooper Center's staff. She has been educating children since 1992. She began her career as a teacher for the Tarrant County Head Start Program and as a Center Trainer for Kinder Care Learning Center in Arlington, TX. She was later hired as a Teacher/Coordinator for Assistant Teachers at the Creative Learning Center in Starkville, MS. Having a passion for math, she returned to Delta State University and received a degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in Math and Social Studies. She taught her first year at Cypress Park Elementary as a fifth grade Math/Science teacher. She's currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Special Education.
